Warehouses can be used to manage stock in different locations - buying, selling, transfer and write off of stock as examples. System settings determine whether stock holdings are reflected separately in the General Ledger or not - Ledger > WarehouseSegNo. The field Warehouse Code is used only for reporting purposes. In-Transit warehouses can be used by Warehouse Transfers, Warehouse Purchase Orders and Supplier Returns. Creating a new Jiwa database automatically creates a Default physical and logical warehouse record.
Bin Locations per warehouse are setup in this form as are Work Centres and Production Areas used by the Bill of Materials module.
